That generally means that it lies their and gets stale. With a blog, its much easier for even a busy business owner to post occasionally, and when they know how to set it up right the first place and learn how to pay attention to SEO issues it can mean a hugely satisfying higher ranking in the search engines with a payoff of much more business.

Great ideas Doug. One thing to add would be the new Google TV ads which can be purchased for a lot cheaper than general TV advertising. Google has made it easier and cheaper for business to promote on TV. I think this service is only in the USA and it might still be in BETA, but it’s something to watch.
